Russell Johnson began his career in Los Angeles as a post-production specialist focused on effects sequences for film and television. He managed production for the physical effects house Optic Nerve Studios during their Emmy Award winning season of the cult science fiction series Babylon 5, and later served as a visual effects producer at Cantina VFX before returning home to Texas. There he worked as a writer/editor for reality television projects developed at Brushfire Films before signing on with AMP Creative. Initially their lead editor, Russell now operates as the boutique agency’s Director of Post-Production, shepherding communication projects for Fortune 500 companies nationwide.
